Every weekend in July, 2023! English language screenings shown on Saturdays at 3pm. Original Japanese language (with English subtitles) shown on Sundays at the same time.

Running time is approx 106 minutes with adverts and trailers.

What We Think

We think this is a fantastically enchanting film, full of wonder and magic that families will love. Studio Ghibli is absolutely on par with Disney and we believe deserves just as much global recognition for its joyous characters and heartfelt storylines.

We have offered the choice for viewers to watch it with the original Japanese language audio (with english subtitles) as we believe this really helps to encompass the historical and social values represented in the film.

However, we do understand that reading subtitles for a prolonged period of time might be a bit tricky for some of our younger audience, and so we also offer the film with English dubbed screenings.
